The byline indicates how long it would take to speed read the current page on the basis of 350WPM.

What is the default speed?

350WPM (words per minute)

How do I adjust the speed?

Click the settings icon in the bottom right and then uses the arrow icons to bump up or down the words per minute (WPM).

How do I close the popup?

Simply click the X icon in the lower right.
